Rob Van Ryper

I remember taking the NBC studio tour at Rockefeller Center in New York City when I was a kid. It must have been late in the Summer of 1975 because they showed us the studio where a new show called "Saturday Night Live" was going to be broadcast. Then they took us up two floors to 66-WNBC where Cousin Brucie was behind a big glass window doing afternoon drive. I still remember he played The Steve Miller Band's first big hit "The Joker."

I liked the local AM radio station even more than the television network and I've been hooked on local radio ever since.

It's great being part of the Superhits 95.9 team... and you know... sometimes I even get to play "The Joker" by The Steve Miller Band... That's Super!
